For our plant in the Czech Republic, Heřmanova Huť, we are looking for:
Continuous improvement manager
- Target of this position:
Implementation and development of a Continuous Improvement Culture and Process within the organization.
Identification and analysis of improvement opportunities by using the lean manufacturing (z.B. Kanban, Value Flow Stream, SMED, TPM) and Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodology.
Lead CI projects targeting cost savings, increase of efficiency, reduction of failure and complaint rate, waste generation etc.
Ensure customer focused continuous improvement plans and projects are effectively tracked and accomplished with the use of relevant CI tools.
- Responsibilities and key aspects of activity:
CI Projects Management
Identify and analyse improvement opportunities.
Lead CI Improvement Projects targeting cost savings, increase of efficiency, reduction of failure and complaint rate, waste generation etc.
Use Lean and CI Tools and methodology during projects implementation.
Training and coaching the organization on the use CI and Six Sigma Tools
Responsible for the CI and Six Sigma Tool selection and priorisation according to group guidelines
Preparation of CI and Six Sigma Training for the employees on all levels
- Requirements to job holder:
Minimum secondary education (advantage of higher education), (Preferrably Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical)
Theoretical knowledge and practical application of Six Sigma Methodology and CI Tools (SMED, 5S, TPM etc.)
Project Management Education (Certification preffered)
English (skill level C1 preffered)
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Very good office knowledge (PP, Excel)
Good Moderation and Presentation skills
Be able to convice top management and motive shop floor for CI projects
Be able to interact with people from different cultures and organizational hierarchy
Be able to work well in teams and lead them
Analytical thinking and ability to understand complex problems
Indepented and well structured way of working
